As per Article 8 of the General and Vocational Colleges Act (CQLR c C-29), the Board of Governors is comprised of nineteen (19) representatives. The Ministry appoints nine (9) representatives (External Members) and the College administers the elections and appointments for the remaining ten (10) (Internal Members).

Immediate Need
Following a gap analysis conducted by the Ad Hoc Committee on Board Evaluations, the following are highly desired knowledge and experience criteria:
Parent Group Representative
One (1) vacancy will become available for a term of two (2) years beginning in the 2025-2026 academic year. In accordance with Article 8(d) of the Act, the incumbents, who are not members of the college staff, are “elected by a majority vote of their peers cast at a general meeting called by the director general of the college or the person designated by the director general…” This general meeting will be held as part of the Parent/Guardian Information Session on Thursday, May 29, 2025, starting at 6:00 pm in the College Auditorium.
The scheduled start date for the incumbent is Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
Enterprise Representatives
Two (2) vacancies currently exist for a term of three (3) years and are appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education. The criteria established by the Ministry is as follows:
