With a Science Degree, you’ll be able to pursue university studies in any scientific field of your choice and in many other fields of studies as well. At CÉGEP Heritage College, you will benefit from a very supportive learning environment, including modern teaching and lab facilities, and extra help from science teachers and peer mentors several hours per week in the learning center.
Admission requirements vary depending on if you're a Quebec applicant, out-of-province applicant, or international applicant.
At the moment, there are no minimum grade cutoff requirements to apply in the Science Program at Heritage. However, as spots are limited, applicants may be selected based on their secondary IV and secondary V grades. We encourage students with questions regarding admission to consult an Academic Advisor at Student Services.
At CÉGEP Heritage College, students who are admitted into Science with a high school math grade that is lower than 70% will take the course ‘Introduction to College Math’ in their first semester. This course helps strengthen math skills and increase success in the program.
Full-time students are usually enrolled in six or seven courses per semester, of which there are three science courses, each consisting of 3 hours of theory and 2 hours of laboratory work per week.
Your schedule will change every semester, but you can expect an average of 25 hours of class or lab time, distributed over the week.
