Canadian full-time student registration fees

Fees are subject to Quebec residency status.  Quebec residency is checked once a student is admitted.  For more information on documents required to prove Quebec residency status, please contact Registrar’s Office.

To be considered a Canadian student, you must have a valid status in Canada, which includes permanent residents, naturalized Canadians, and Canadian citizens.

To be considered a full-time student, you must have a minimum of four (4) courses, or twelve (12) hours of classes per week, or one hundred and eighty (180) hours of classes per semester (Fall and Winter).  During the Summer semester, if you need financial aid, you need two (2) courses to be considered full-time.

To be considered a part-time student, you would have fewer than four (4) courses per semester, or twelve (12) hours of classes per week, or one hundred and eighty (180) hours of classes per semester.

Depending on specific situations, a student may be part-time but deemed full-time for fee purposes. For more information on fees and how they apply to you, please contact the Registrar’s Office.
