In order to honour the memory of the victims of COVID‑19, the Gouvernement du Québec is organizing a national day of remembrance, to be held on March 11, 2021. National day of remembrance for victims of COVID‑19 | Gouvernement du Québec (quebec.ca)

A ceremony will take place, between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m., in the forecourt of the Parliament Building.

At 1:00 p.m., the entire population of Québec will be asked to observe a minute of silence.

The federal government is also designating Thursday, March 11 as “a National Day of Observance to commemorate the people who lost their lives and the significant impacts we have all felt because of COVID-19.”
