Love dumplings? Learn how to make them yourself! This hands-on, non-credit cooking class at CÉGEP Heritage College introduces you to the art of crafting Asian dumplings from scratch. Under the guidance of an experienced chef, you’ll learn how to prepare fillings, shape and fold dumplings using traditional techniques, and cook them to perfection. Whether steamed, pan-fried, or boiled, you’ll explore various cooking methods and enjoy a delicious shared meal. No prior experience needed—just bring your appetite!

Course Description

Learn the art of dumpling-making in this hands-on workshop. You'll shape and cook two classic styles—crispy pork and chive dumplings, and delicate shrimp wontons—paired with a bright cucumber salad and two dipping sauces. A fun, social evening ideal for food lovers who enjoy hands-on cooking.

  • Classes include a mix of chef demonstrations, independent work, and hands-on group cooking.
  • Participants may not make every menu item listed.
  • Open to ages 16+
