Languages - French and English

In the nation's capital, bilingualism is your greatest asset. Speaking English and French is a must in our region. In order to meet your languages goals, CÉGEP Heritage College offers you a variety of training options. 

Customized language training

Our Business Services team offers customized language training for your organization (English & French). We'll work with you to determine your needs. Our customized training includes:

• our self-evaluation form (Self-evaluation of oral abilities in English, Autoévaluation en Français parlé) to determine each person's level, (based on the Canadian Language Benchmark)
• classes taught by highly-qualified  teachers
• classroom activities that integrate listening, reading, speaking, and writing
• custom-tailored activities to respond to your organization's specific needs
• small classes (maximum 12) to foster individual attention and best opportunities to practise conversation
• teachers who give feedback on your progress
• an attestation of participation issued to participants attending ≥ 75 % of classes,

Objectives

Our language trainings aim to:

• to promote overall fluency
• to develop conversational speaking, reading, comprehension, and writing skills
• to correct pronunciation errors that impede understanding
• to maintain essential grammar structures and to introduce/develop more complex grammar structures
• to increase vocabulary and enhance formal and practical language skills

Trainings are offered at your premises or at our main campus.
