What is an AEC?

An AEC is an Attestation d’études collégiales or translated in English, an Attestation of College Studies. It is the certification received upon completing an intensive college-level Career program at a Cégep (Collège d’enseignement général et professionnel).
Cégep Heritage College offers eight (8) AEC programs ranging in composition of 15 to 17 program-specific courses. All courses are compulsory for graduation. Upon completion, students are prepared to enter the workforce.

Adults learning with other adults.
AEC programs are designed to prepare adult students for entry into the job market. Students learn practical applications, gain knowledge about Canadian practices, and upgrade their skills towards a new career in Office Administration, Information Technology, Accounting or Early Childhood Care.
