Electronics and Information Technology

The Electronics and Information Technology Co-op program at Heritage is a three-year career program designed to prepare students to work as computer/network specialists in business, industry and the public sector.

Upon completion of the Electronics and Information Technology program students will be ready to work as entry-level technologists who develop, implement and maintain electronic systems in stand-alone and networked environments using a wide range of hardware and software design and testing facilities. A strong academic and practical curriculum encourages lifelong learning.

Electronics and Information Technology offers both first and second year co-op placements during the summer work term.

Students who participate in a co-op work term are able to work with a variety of installation, servicing, maintenance and testing environments. They will have the knowledge and skills required in today’s workplace:
