International Co-op

Participation in a co-op work term placement abroad or outside Quebec allows students to familiarize themselves with the national/international job market, to further develop aptitudes and to utilize competencies they have acquired during their studies.

Participation in a co-op work term placement abroad or outside Quebec will enable the student to:

  • Develop his or her general Culture.
  • Acquire experience in living and working abroad.
  • Increase his or her mobility in a context of globalization of the job market.
  • Show openness and adaptability to diversity.

A work term placement abroad or outside Quebec is a personal choice and the student must prove, beforehand, that he or she has the ability to take part in this experience, must play an active part in the processes required to obtain a work permit, a visa or any other documents, and must assume the costs associated with his or her choices. Participation in a co-op work term placement abroad or outside Quebec is available to students who have successfully completed their first co-op placement or have experience deemed equivalent.
