Through Visual Paradigm Academic Partner Program, Heritage College is granted license for modeling software - VP-UML, SDE-EC, SDE-VS for educational use.

Computer Science at Heritage College is a 3 year co-op program that prepares students for a variety of challenging careers in the Information Technology field.

Students in this dynamic program develop expertise in web programming, programming languages, database management systems, multimedia tools, operating systems, and network communications software and hardware.

The program starts with the basics, so previous programming knowledge is not required. It is recommended that students have basic computer skills and the knowledge of a word processing and a spreadsheet package.

Small class sizes, highly qualified and dedicated staff, and two paid co-op work terms ensure that students have a solid foundation of well rounded skills. A strong academic and practical curriculum encourages continued lifelong learning.

Graduates of the program enjoy excellent starting salaries and a very high level of employment in either the public or private sector. Students also have the option of pursuing a degree upon graduation.
