Program Introduction
The 3-year Computer Science co-op program prepares students for a wide variety of challenging careers or further studies in Information Technology. Students develop expertise in object-oriented, web and mobile programming, database modeling and design, hardware/software installation, operating systems, networks and user support and training. Students gain experience with an array of technologies, languages and tools including Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, Node.js, ASP.NET, C#, AJAX, XML, Oracle, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, and Android. They also develop expertise in communications, interpersonal skills, business fundamentals, problem solving and professionalism.

Co-op Work Term
Qualified students are eligible to be placed in two paid summer work terms. Access to a professional setting gives students practical real-life work experience, greatly improving their employability.
