Accounting and Management Technology

Program Introduction
The 3-year Accounting and Management Technology program provides students with the skills required to succeed in the modern business world. Students learn the latest business concepts and technologies through a combination of lectures, field trips, case studies, and extensive team-oriented exercises. The program provides students with a solid background in accounting/finance, marketing, human resources, computer applications, entrepreneurship, and general management studies. Students also become familiar with computerized accounting systems and taxation software. Graduates will have acquired strong entrepreneurial, communication, and computer literacy skills that prepare them for today’s competitive workplace.

Co-op Work Term
A key feature of this program is the co-op component, where qualified students are placed in paid summer work terms at the end of the 2nd and 4th semesters. Access to a professional setting provides students with practical reallife work experience, greatly improving their employability. Graduates often receive full-time job offers from their co-op employers. Please refer to our website to verify the eligibility criteria for co-op. Visit the Co-op section for more information.
