Home Childcare Provider Courses - recognized toward Home Childcare Accreditation.
Minimum: 8 persons per course and per workshop
Are you a Home Childcare Provider in need of training to maintain or to gain your home childcare accreditation? We offer the required 45 hours of training on a rotational basis and the 6-hour yearly, mandatory workshops, scheduled in the Fall, in Winter and in Spring. Please note that our courses are offered in English.
These courses are given at the main campus on Cité-des-Jeunes and/or at our Pontiac campus, in Campbell’s Bay.

Winter 2012 schedule
MAKE & TAKE “All About Me” workshopHave fun incorporating fun ways to teach children about their bodies, emotions, feelings, their 5 senses and health. Includes extensive handout with games, science activities, songs, etc. Bring your markers, scissors and glue to make some games you will be able to use in your program.

MAKE & TAKE “Bugs, Insects and Other Crawly Things” workshop
Learn all about those pesty bugs we hate but that kids love! Includes a handout on rhymes, songs, books, etc. Make a puppet and learn exciting art & craft ideas for all ages. Bring your markers, scissors and glue to make some great things to use right away in your program. Program will be toddler-friendly.
