Management of the Farm Entreprise (CNE.OM)

Goal
To provide students preparing for a career in agriculture with the appropriate techniques to plan, develop, and manage a successful farm business.

Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to compile pertinent information from private, political, and financial sources, enabling them to plan an agriculture entreprise. Students will be able to evaluate performance, and develop any required business intervention strategies. Controlling and recording all business transactions, as well as managing employees will be student acquired skills. Students will also be proficient in market development, promotion, merchandising and the selling of farm products.

Admission Requirements
To be considered for this program, candidates must have a high school diploma or proven equivalency.

Ministerial Requirements
In addition, the applicant must meet one of the following requirements:

a. the applicant's studies have been interrupted for at least two consecutive terms or one school year;
b. the applicant is covered by an agreement entered into by the College and an employer or by a government program;
c. the applicant has completed at least one year of post-secondary studies over a period of one year or more.
