Microsoft Networks 2003 with Linux (LEA.1G)

This program provides students interested in technical software support positions with an understanding of techniques, and standard software packages. Students will also have introductory exposure to the Linux operating system. This program also leads to an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) sought after by employers today.

Admission requirements
To be considered for this program, candidates must have a high school diploma or proven equivalency and must also demonstrate an interest in and an aptitude for technical applications in regards to computers. Candidates will also be asked to pass a proficiency test as a condition of admission. Final selection will be made one to three weeks prior to the beginning of the program.

Ministerial Requirements
In addition, the applicant must meet one of the following requirements:

a. the applicant's studies have been interrupted for at least two consecutive terms or one school year;
b. the applicant is covered by an agreement entered into by the College and an employer or by a government program;
c. the applicant has completed at least one year of post-secondary studies over a period of one year or more.
