Bilingual Office Administration (LCE.51)

Goal: The Bilingual Office Administration program will develop administrative skills and prepare students to occupy supervisory level jobs in the private and public sectors. This program is designed to develop the administrator’s knowledge and skills necessary for success in today’s office environment.

Outcome : Candidates completing this training will be able to function in a bilingual environment and:

  • Deliver office procedures and customer service in the public and private sector.
  • Will have the understanding of the legal structure which applies to the operation of a business and regulates society.
  • Will have acquired administrative skills to put into practice in supervisory level jobs.

Admission Requirements
To be considered for this program, candidates must have a high school diploma or proven equivalency. Candidates will be asked to do an English and a French test as a condition of admission. Final selection of candidates will be made one to three weeks prior to the start of the program.

Ministerial Requirements
In addition, the applicant must meet one of the following requirements:

a. the applicant's studies have been interrupted for at least two consecutive terms or one school year;
b. the applicant is covered by an agreement entered into by the College and an employer or by a government program;
c. the applicant has completed at least one year of post-secondary studies over a period of one year or more.
